Our steel base system, consisting of an ultra strong series of floor frames, bolt together to provide a strong and adjustable steel base, tailor made to fit your conservatory perfectly.
Into each floor frame can be fitted under-floor insulation to provide a thermal insulation in the floor that meets the exacting requirements of the building regulations Part L
Each floor section is designed to ensure that it is no greater than 1500 x 1200mm and no heavier than 45 Kgs which is permitted for two person handling under current Health and Safety regulations
The base, formed from cold rolled box section steel, is coated three times with a special oxide paint to protect the steel from exposure to the elements. The system has a certificate of suitability for use issued by a UK government authority
The conservatory is secured to the base with TEC screws and the base is secured to the house wall using expanding or chemical bolts. The base has vertical adjustment on each foot of plus or minus 40mm for levelling.
The system is warranted for a period of 10 years on all components
